THE SHIELD PRO RANGE
First, choose everyday or high-performance protection. Then choose epoxy or urethane to suit the exposure. All four work on steel and concrete.
01 Choose your protection level
02 Choose for the exposure
A common choice for indoor work. Epoxy can yellow in sunlight; outdoors, consider a compatible urethane topcoat when appearance matters.
Use urethane on its own indoors or outdoors, or as a compatible finish over epoxy. Both 2306 and 2308 are non-yellowing.

We’ll help review preparation and a high-performance coating option.
High performance is a durability choice for new and existing surfaces. Both urethanes are non-yellowing. Surface preparation and the project specification still apply.
AN OPTIONAL COMBINATION
Epoxy provides strength and chemical resistance, but can yellow in sunlight. A compatible urethane topcoat adds a non-yellowing exposed finish.
You can also use urethane on its own, indoors or outdoors. A two-product system is optional and should match the demands of the job.
Choose the compatible products and recoat conditions for the complete system. The exposed topcoat also affects chemical and wear resistance; adding a topcoat does not automatically improve every property.

FROM PREPARATION TO FINISH
Every coating begins with the right preparation. Match the product, application, and finished surface to the demands of the job.

SUPPLIED FIELD PHOTOGRAPHY
Document the surface and existing coating before specifying a maintenance system. Long-term durability is the aim; the preparation follows the actual condition.

Yes. Both SHIELD PRO 2306 and 2308 are non-yellowing urethane coatings for indoor or outdoor use. Choose the protection level for the job, then decide whether a non-yellowing finish is a priority.
You can. All four SHIELD PRO products can be applied as standalone coatings to properly prepared steel or concrete without a separate primer. Combining epoxy and urethane is an option when the specification calls for epoxy protection with a non-yellowing finish.
The high-performance range focuses on long-term durability and protection. Color retention is not the distinction between the two ranges: 2306 and 2308 are both non-yellowing urethanes, while 2305 and 2307 are epoxies that can yellow under UV exposure.
No. Choose it for new or existing surfaces when long-term durability is the priority. If corrosion is present, general purpose is not recommended as the standalone coating. For limited corrosion outdoors, 2306 can be used alone after preparation; severe corrosion needs a site assessment.
Epoxy can be part of an exterior coating specification, but its exposed surface can yellow in sunlight. When appearance matters outdoors, consider a standalone non-yellowing urethane or a compatible urethane finish over epoxy.
No. Each product can be applied without a separate primer, but the substrate still needs the specified preparation. Standalone application does not mean one coat; coat count and film thickness follow the product specification.
Use the specified coverage per coat, your surface area, coat count, and an allowance appropriate for the job. Kit quantities must use the confirmed mixed net contents. Container size alone does not tell you the usable mixed volume.
